A conversation between a student and myself:
Her: Do you need to go to college to be a teacher?
Me: Yep!
Her: How long?
Me: At least five years. And when you're done, you'll still have to take classes to keep your certificate valid.
Her: Oh. I want to be a vet and my dad said that I would have to go to college for four years.
Me: At least that. If not more!
Her: Oh... Do I have to take classes?
