Hello. How are you? Remember me?
Yes I know it's been AGES since I posted, but, a few things have been happening in my life. One is that I FINALLY got over turning forty. I don't like it, but, I'm over it.
The other thing that's happened is that school has started again. I'm a busy girl, yo so you get highlights:
- VERY cute kids!
- parents are a little on the neurotic side, but, good.
- very diverse group of kids.
- did I mention cute?
- got to move in to the building this year so no more portable stink! (Yippee!)
- My teaching partner is 'da bomb.
- I get to teach what I love.
- Tina is in the same unit with my teaching partner and I!
So far, it's been a really great start to the year. I am grade level chair, which means I go to meetings and bring info back to them. This is not a comfortable position for me to be in as I don't like telling adults what to do and I'm a little uncomfortable with my grade level right now. Nothing I will divulge here, but, let's just say there are issues.
Sigh.
It's a good start.
